In 2011 Salzburg Bach Choir and the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg will again be part of Salzburg Festival's traditional performance of W.A. Mozart's Mass in C minor KV 427. 24th July 2011, 4.00, Alter Markt, Salzburg
John Cage's Musicircus (1967) simply invites the performers to assemble and perform together - a "happening" where multiple performances occur simultaneously to create new and unusual configurations. It is a pure celebration of chaos neglecting traditional historical style of performance. Salzburg Bach Choir is going to present a-cappella music by various composers in the area of Alter Markt.
